So Sad - I was the first person to call and ask about this yellow teddy bear of a dog. He is a beautiful cream color Lab with pretty dark eyes and a loving personality. Shelter loves his temperament.
I spoke to Tommy, the ACO at the shelter, Tommy cares and really, really likes this dog. He says he is super sweet and would make a wonderful family dog. Big Man likes other dogs and loves kids. Tommy likes him so much he has been working with him (teaching him to sit and working on shake) to try and make him more adoptable. This dog has been at the shelter a month already - no interest so far.
Here is the story. Big Man is an owner turn in because he jumped up on the neighbor's Harley motorcycle, scratched it and the owner had to pay to have it repainted. Big Man is about 5 years old and very smart. The owner said the Big Man was on HW preventative, but the vacc were not current so that is a maybe. He has been at the shelter for almost a month, so he is pretty excited when he gets out of the pen. Beautiful, sweet and healthy with an engaging personality.
I would appreciate it if anyone would help me cross post this guy. It is evident how good a dog he is, the shelter has kept him a month, but he is running out of time.
I hope that this friendly doggie finds a nice home soon.
